Pre-school take a registration fee for all children which is £25. This is to be paid once your child have been given confirmation of a space at Pre-School, your child will receive a red preschool logo bag and a red book ‘my favourite people book’.

Refundable deposits are required for privately paying parents/guardians at Northern Pastures Pre-School of £100. Registration fee and deposit is to be paid as soon as possible (or a date given) to secure your child’s place.

Deposit will only be refunded if you inform pre-school with a 6 weeks’ notice that you no longer require the space or once your child’s 3 year old funding has begun. Before your child starts their first day at Pre-School, we require you to pay the half term fee up front (this can be anything from 5-8 weeks, depending on how many weeks in that half term) and activity charge. Invoices will be given 2 weeks before their due date/ 2 weeks before the end of half term/ end of term.

A session fee is:

Morning = £17.50

Afternoon = £17.50

Or all day = £35

We also charge for a snack and activity charge of:

£3 a morning session/all day

Or £1.50 an afternoon session

The money provided by the Government for funded education only covers a core level of service. Despite offering “free” childcare to parents the money Early Years settings receive does not cover the cost of certain services and is only intended to cover a basic core offer.

At Northern Pastures Pre-School the Government funding does NOT cover the cost of additional enrichment activities, learning journals, snack, staff PPE, cleaning materials and many other services that we consider essential to your child’s learning environment and outstanding care.

Please note Pre-school offer payment plans, if this is something you are interested in. This contribution also funds the children to go on trips, this could be a short bus ride to the library or to Milton Keynes City Centre for lots of learning and fun!
